My turbo is bad in my 98 Eclipse gst it has aftermarket fuel pump, down pipe, j pipe, intercooler, etc. I just bought it so I may be missing a few things. I dont have a lot of money to spend so I want to either rebuild my t25 or replace it with another t25. Which one should I do? Plz don’t recommend that I upgrade to a 16g,t28,etc because I don’t have the money for a quality big turbo.thanks:dsm:

rebuilding would probably be your cheapest route unless you see one in the classifieds here...would say maybe ebay but most of those folks are unreliable( at least thats what ive found ) seems most ppl here are knowledgeable and honest with what they have. good luck!

I agree. Replace the t25 with another one, either used on dsm groups, here, or eBay.

Get the car running and reliable and then decide if it is worth investing in a new turbo.

The 14b 1st gen eclipse turbo is an upgrade, but you are looking at spending another hundred dollars to buy the correct oil lines and install kit
