Trying to put my car back together but i need to re-tap the hole in the back of my transmission where it meets the rear motor mount.

What size/part # is this bolt ? Definately extra fine thread

So this bolt is 12x1.25x30, does the "30" refer to the thread length? Meaning this bolt is just a lil too long?
It depends on where they measured the bolt from, typically though the "30" would refer to the length of just the threads so it would too long but theres nothing wrong with cutting it down to 23mm though. There is also nothing wrong with getting the OEM bolt from the dealership, from alittle CAPS rummaging I found this P/N MF241280. Of course you'd want to verify it with the dealership but that way you know you've got a Mitsu bolt in there.

Im thinking ill just order this bolt, looks like some quality stainless and i have no problem cutting it to fit. My mount has a that welded plate there so i might make it a hair longer than 23 anyway
