Simple question, will a 95 rear end fit into a 91?

No, 2G's are different than 1g's. I have one of each and they don't interchange. I am not sure if the gearing is even the same in them but physically they are different. Maybe some other members can chime in on this.

Why are you needing to swap? I see youre asking about 91 stuff (91 comes with a 3 bolt rear end), so I will say that if you have 1G 4 bolt axles and cups, and had a bad 3 bolt rear and were looking to swap and just couldnt find a 1G 4 bolt rear, but found a 2G LSD rear, you could indeed take the 1G LSD out of its case put the 2G rear differential into your 1G case, just make sure you put the ring gear off the 1G 3 bolt onto the 2G LSD as it will be bedded to the pinion in the 1G case already. Setting the backlash, tooth engagement, bearing preload and turning torque properly is fairly involved, but you might get away with just swapping ring gears and using the bearings and shims from the 1G differential and putting them onto the 2G LSD.
