I was wondering how i tell if my 92 eclipse has a 3 or 4 bolt rear I do know it is a limitedslip rear diff dont know it that means its a 3 or 4 bolt thanks to any one that can help !!!!!!!

92 is the best year to have because they are all(actualy not 100% if there was a split but most are) 6 bolt 4 bolt as in 6 bolt crank and 4 bolt rear. As for LSD or not all you have to do is lift the car up off the ground on a lift or jack stands and spin one side and the other tire should go the same way.

3-bolt rear axle assemblies have 3 bolts attaching the axle to the wheel hub. 4-bolt axles have 4 bolts, as well as beefier axle cups, and are therefore far stronger.
