rear diff advise needed asap

can anyone tell me if a 1g rear diff can work on a 2g
and is it the same for the evo 3 1g and the evo 4 2g

No can do man, a 1st gen rear diff will not work in a 2g. The 2g axels are longer along with the rear diff being a little bigger than a 1st gen(i have both rear diffs sitting in my garage right now). Sorry man, as for the evo rear question im not to sure about as i have no idea with the evo stuff. Maybe somebody with EVO know how can chime in on that. Good Luck=)
