So I bought a 90 eagle talon tsi awd with 90k on the shell an supposedly a newly built head an rebuilt engine. I didn't believe that so I started pulling the head off an the oil pan to see if there was anything up. ) So now I'm stuck debating on a rebuild or just throwing it all back together with a balance shaft elimination kit. Any advise would be helpful but as you can see the pistons have shavings an looks like they are no turbo pistons because two of the valve holes are smaller then the other. An they head where the valves seat are rusted an scratched up.

that at least helps a little but still there's the whole bearing shavings
