Does anyone have a link to the tightening sequence for headbolts and to what torque i should torque the stock 7-bolt headstuds to?

Thanks

This is the order for unscrewing the head bolts...just inverse the order (1 for 10, 2 for 9, etc):

That seems pretty logical. I have always started in the middle and worked outward no matter what engine. I am not sure if Mitsu specifies differently though.

This is probably stupid but you can get to the headbolts without removing the cams? And which ones are the long ones and which ones are the whort ones?

Yes you can it all comes out in one peice and im not sure which ones are long and short but you should be able to tell when you take it out. But dont reuse them. your best bet is to go with a set of ARP head studs.

Anyone ever put a set of ARP studs in without pulling the head? I had heard that there were some clearance issues do to the fact that the ARP studs are longer than the stock bolts. Anyone know for sure?

If your going to go with a set of ARP's then you should also go with a new metal head gasket cause theres relly no sense of puting them on if the gasket is not any good. But if you have already put a new gasket on recently then theres no harm in trying to put them on without remoing the head.
