Yeah that GSR-4 is a rarity here in North America. Never seen another like it.

Though 1G's seem to be pretty rare around my area. Everybody seems to have a 2G. I have yet to see a single 1G other than my own.

the only differences I've seen besides the tail lights are the front turn signal lamps, no fog light button (they are always on), there is a different warning light on the dash (looks like something for a catalytic converter, it's explained on the sun visor but I can't read Japanese), and the auto up and down windows. It also has the auto seatbelts, but I believe those were available in the states also.

I have a 97 TSI AWD in Pewter Blue Pearl. No sunroof or power antenna. Does have ABS, Leather and Power drivers. Missing however is an LSD rear. My last DSM was a 1994 built 2G in Tropical Lime Metallic. Also had the rear vented rotors. All options, sunroof, power leather perforated seats, LSD. Both cars are the rarest of rare 2Gs my other 1996 2G was the normal Minden Silver Pearl.

And obviously this is the rarest because after years of posts, its not even mentioned here once.

Oslo Green Pearl 1996 only. Its not rare anymore because the asshat painted over it.

I consider my car fairly rare, 90 1G Black Cherry. They're very hard to find in good condition still, I looked for almost a year to find mine and was virgin bone stock when I got it.

There is one like yours right down the street froma friend of mine here in colorado springs. The think looks pretty damn clean

This would be Tropical Lime Metallic 95 Talon only. Looks like a repaint, the roof and mirrors are the same color. And the front bumper is aftermarket, no emblem indent, Eclipse spoiler. It might be an Eclipse. Virginia car, judging by the windshield stickers.

This was already mentioned, But in all honesty, I thought Blue 2g DSM's were rare. I've only seen maybe 2 2ga's. Until I saw this!

Guy posted it on MM. I just can't get over that color. All it needs is those 97 Talon quarter windows and it will be one rare puppy .

Someone mentioned in this thread, only 5% of 94 Talons were Turbo... Is that true? I have a 94 TSI AWD!

Well the guy who owns it wanted to turbo it, but after the finansial crysis in 2008 he backed off and tried to sell it. Well he couldn't so he kept it. Maybe sometime later he will turbo it.

And isn't it too hard for a 1G to convert it to an AWD. I have a friend who did the 1G AWD conversion, but have never seen and discussed it in detail how he did it.

concidering you have to re route your exhaust cut a hole in the hatch redo the entire rear suspension completely remove and replace the front undercarriage...yeah its a lot of work

its about the same as just taking the shell off the chassis and putting it on another chassis...

the only reason its so easy for the 2g guys to do it on the spyder...and i repeat only the spyder...is because they used the awd chassis on the convertables because its much more rigid so they didnt have to enforce the shell as much..
