rapid clicking

2g awd talon 2600lb act, this is the 2nd clutch it is rapid clicking when u put in the clutch. after a few times of pushing the clutch it clicks constantly. it increases speed with rpm, when you put in the clutch it bogs the car has a shep stage 3 trans, and i just replaced the clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing today. the noise was there before the clutch was replaced i thought it was the tob or maybe bent pressure plate finger, but apparently not im lost so lets hear it. all theories welcome.

with a stethoscope sounds like its coming from drivers side crank area steth on engine behind crank pulley im trying to be thorough here

You need to write in complete sentences with proper punctuation. I hate to bust your balls, but man that was absolutely miserable to read and most knowledgable people on here are going to choose to ignore a post if they have to stumble through it just to try to read what you have written.

I think you may have an issue with crankwalk or possibly a spun bearing. You need to grab a hold of the crank pulley and see if you can wiggle it or move it in and out. Sometimes the rubber around the pulley will get funny and allow movement so check that as well. When you say that the engine bogs down when the clutch is depressed, that really sounds like crankwalk too. If you have no movement at all in that crank pulley then I'd be thinking spun bearing. Maybe this will give you something to go on. Good luck and please clean up that typing.

My buddy had a similar issue with his DSM, it ended up being the front differential. Now if its coming from the crank side, it is very possible it could be something behind the timing cover. I would pull the timing cover and inspect it. Last thing you want is the belt to go. I've seen that happened plenty of times.

J.k, but try to space your sentences out a little.

I would say if your hearing noises by the crank side of the motor, if its a rapid Clicking, I would check your Crank Pulley aka Harmonic Balancer and see if the rubber is seperating in it.

Also pull on your crank pulley and if it wiggles, well you know what that means.

Lastly, It could be rod bearing or even something simple behind your timing cover, maybe a tensioner or idler pulley going.

Try to pinpoint the exact noise location for us.
