Hey,

Yesterday i was driving my car in my driveway and she ran out of gas (I didnt know at first casue i forgot to look). So i kept cranking it over and it never started. Well i got more gas and it still wont start. I dont know why? any help will......help.

Thanks,
Matt

Check to see if you are getting fuel at the rail. A lot of time whe you run a car out of gas you will pick up a lot of sedimant in the tank and it can clog the pickup or the pump itself. You may have to pull the pump and clean it out.

Just how much more gas did you put in it?

I ran my eclipse out of gas once in my driveway ROFL. I stopped after 2-3min of trying so I wouldn't ruin my pump.
You might of burned up the pump by trying to crank it dry.
When is the last time you changed your fuel filter? might be a good time now.

Hey,

I put 5 gal in it. also i just got the car and havnt changed the filter yet because i really havnt looked into it. But im gunna do that now. to check my fuel pump should i pull the tank or try and take it out with the tank still installed.

Thanks,
Matt
