quebec,
Hey there fellow DSMers...

I was thinking this week about buying a MBC (final choice is dejon tool MBC-2a) but as I was reading some threads on here, I saw ppl saying not to raise boost on the T25 as it will only create heat and will kill the turbo quickly.

My question is, how much boost can be added to the T25 without fuel mods? I was thinking 15-16 PSI wouldn't kill it, but now that i've read those posts, I'm not sure anymore...

My car is still in the garage until mid-march early-april... The only mods so far are BOV and turbo timer, but a Thermal cat-back, K&N filter, spark plugs and wires will be added along with the MBC the day it'll come out.

Is it safe to run 15-16 PSI with those mods? If not, what boost will be safe (don'T say stock, i'm not stupid  ) or what other mods would I need to get 15-16 PSI safely?

I'm planning to get a AGP RS49 next year so keep this in mind when suggesting mods... I don'T want to buy a fuel pump now and a bigger one next year because the RS49 wont support the smaller one. Doing things right the first time is my motto... I only want a lil' more pep out of my GSX before doing the turbo upgrade...

Thanks!!

-Phil

P.S.: Yes I have a boost gauge

15-16 psi should be fine on the stock turbo. Its usually more than that, that will cause problems because it will lose effieciency.

If you have a logger, check some pulls at different boost levels. For my car back when I was on my 25, I found the best boost level to be 15psi. Every car is a bit different, so take that in mind too.
