Radial main bearing scratch, use or no?

Hey guys, I hate to post this to here but I'm trying to get this thing together and I'm at a bit of a stopping point and there is very little traffic happening in the short block sub forum.

building my motor and got ACL Race bearings for it. I installed my crank and removed it again to check some stuff and found my bearings to have scratches on them. What I think it may be from is the oil journal on the crank. If I run my nail down it it catches on the corner of journal as if it's not totally flush. This is a brand spanking new crankshaft from Extreme PSI, never been run/cut etc.

Is this normal? Any insight at all? Crank turned great while installed and torqued and I can't noticeably catch my nail on the scratches. Rod bearings are totally fine yet I can do the same thing with my nail on them. Clevite assembly lube used and clearances are within spec.

Brutal. For a $600 brand new out of the box crank this is extremely disappointing.

Your telling me. Somehow my stock crank was cracked, and then issues with a brand new forged one... what's the third thing to go wrong. Hopefully I get it over with soon.

I doubt the crank needs to be polished but the oil holes need to be chamfered. If you can't feel the scratches on the bearings, they will be fine to use. But you should call the vendor that you purchased the crank from and complain. They or the manufacturer should be footing the bill for chamfering and cleaning the crank.
