Lol. sorry to say lofty but this time it is for real, unfortunately... I have to move on in life, as much as i don't want to. It's for my own good.
Hopefully the next owner enjoys my car and takes good care of it.

Not dumping i just want to have a nice looking chilling car now than a fast car with bucketloads of money invested in JUST the motor.
Maxima will just have hid's, rims, and a system. And maybe a lip kit as in the maxima in the link. That's it...
Much much less than trying to "finish up" a DSM.

Maybe mindset... things do happen and anything goes in this world. Let's see what time tells.

SEARCH NOOB!

:)

There is a thread for this, though.

You'll be back. We all come back. I did the "chill" thing with the Rangie...boring as hell even with the luxury aspect.

LOL @ noob. I know there is a "soon ghosts to us" thread lando, just rather give my own "personal separated goodbye" type of thread, LOL.
I hear you on the luxury/blah type feeling. I've never tried it and wouldn't mind giving it a try. It never hurts to try things once at least, right ?

So, you're special now? You're lucky I don't mod this section anymore, homie. ;)

Why that tone Lando ? Never said i was, just wanted to make a separate thread. Just announcing my change and saying goodbye. That's all. :)

Tone? Did I not use enough emoticons or something?

If thursday comes and the guy still hasn't come up with the money, the car stays and i will finish working on the little cosmetic details to finish off the 2gb conversion and work on finishing my fuel system. *crosses fingers*

Edit : Thanks for the heads up project, didn't realize they wanted these there too.

And to think I was planning on coming down to chill with you, Ricky, and the rest of the crew in FL as soon as I could.

LOL !! Sorry ricky my funds can't keep up with the DSM bro. Gotta make sacrifices. If i were a little better off financially i wqouldn't mind and keep it.

are you sure its an rs. my 95 rs has no power anything. i thought the gs was the power windows and stuff. other than that there's no difference. someone correct me if im wrong.

to give you an idea of what to ask i bought my 95 rs for 3000 with 140,000 on the engine. It had some problems when i got it though. (overheating, exhaust leak, and some minor cosmetic problems) it was also all stock.

so if your car is in good condition it wouldn't be out of the question to get 4000 - 4500 for it. Or you could donate it to me :)

by the way im answereing dsmj89

When I get a new DSM I will find a nice 1st gen and leave it completly stock!

maybe some wheels and thats it. Get the body rocking good and rebuild the motor to stock. Get the turbo rebuilt and basically make it look like a brand spankin new car! then I can enjoy it unlike my old dsm. I couldn't enjoy the car with all the mods.

I'm sorry to say it...But I left the DSM world for good. Three weeks ago or so I sold my 97 GS-T, and it wasn't easy doing it. I owned the car for almost 4 years and was in love with it. It was one of the best looking, properly maintained DSM's I've ever seen, IMO. The body had 173,686 miles on it with a freshly re-built motor with a little over 4,000 miles on it. For having 173,686 miles, the car was absolutely gorgeous inside and out. It still drove like a brand new car the day I sold her. I just hope the new owner can take care of her like I did. The reason I sold it was because I got tired of having a FWD 14sec grocery getter, although the grocery getter was an eye catcher to anyone who knew the slightest bit about cars. Not to mention, I couldn't pass up the new toy that I found for an unbelieveable price. My new MINT condition, 1 owner 300ZX :D Although it's not turbo, it is RWD and a 2 seater. Not as quick as the GS-T, but I think it's much more fun to drive.
