uhhhh, says who? theres tons of dsms out there for under $4000. most will probably be 1gs and in my case that works out because i dont care for 2gs. you could find one if you actually looked. but peace out and have fun in your mustang.

Turbo to 3.8 mustang.....How does that work? My bro has an 02 3.8 and that thing is a turtle. Good luck with it though, I know you can make them pretty quick if you supercharge them!

I drive 70 miles round trip to work everyday in an old junkyard 1g. Nothing but reliable, and 30+ mpg doesn't hurt either.

Nothing's salvageable? Part out maybe? If the engine is fine, you can certainly find a shell to swap it in.

My friend is selling a 91 for 2000 awd turbo and it runs and drives. It was his daily. And its cleaner then mine. Sorry dude i dont feel bad for you i think its a cop out actually. I can find first gens for 300 to 1000 around here i have never payed over 2000 for one. I am buying a fwd 92 talon for 500 bucks five speed come next week runs and drives. If i had 3000 i would buy one cheap as hell an rebuild what ever needs fixed. Enjoy your rustang you wont be missed.

Now you and I both know that you can't find a reasonable turbo DSM for 4k. So after a month and a half of searching and being carless I had to settle with something a little different. I just purchased a white 00 Mustang 3.8 for an insanely good price.

1. I had about 3 weeks to find a car before school.
2. Walking 2 miles to work everyday to work and for food sucks the big one.
3. The mustang is barely slower than my gst and I already have parts on the way.
4. I have NEVER EVER wanted a 1g. They're hideous, just not my thing, sorry. Also I needed something reliable, and we ALL know how DSM's are, not only that, the newest 1g's are 15 years old so yeah...
5. Last but not least, I do plan on picking up another DSM in the next 2 years or so once I get out of school so chill my brothers [=

Thank you spo0ln. I've always looked up to you and followed the talon's buildup closely. Sorry you have to sell it, and had I had the funds, I would have made the trip to buy it, trust me. You have, IMHO, the cleanest DSM to ever grace this planet.

Well I finally got my evo and I love it. Its in mint condition. Has 8k on it. Gonna miss the GSX but I know I picked the right car.. Its an mr with ams cai, tbe, and flash made 301whp on the dyno.

This is a hard step for me to do. I love DSm, this has been my 3rd one. I always had dsm in my blood and will never forget my roots. I know this may disappoint you guys but it's a step in life i have to do. Considering the economy how it is and my job and the hours they give me aren't really helping me out with my hobby and having money for me.
I honestly rather have money for me and my gf than always spend it on the DSM and not have to take her out or invite her to a nice dinner. Some things in life are just more important and life is all about sacrifices. I will never forget all i have learned and all the fun i had with all my DSM's. I will however pop back in here and hangout with you guys and chat if that's ok.
That being said, the new buyer will be picking up the car anywhere between today and tomorrow.
My next car will be a 98-99 maxima, always had a thing for those model years. I plan to freshen it up and make it look something like this :

I just want a chilling car with space to be able to take friends out and my gf and her family for those random family occasions and still have a nice car.
