Haven't tracked her since 2007, sold in march 2010, never saw an 11second timeslip. The goal of that car was to build the ultimate street DSM. 11 second street machine, full leather interior, fully daily driveable.. I'm pretty sure I achieved it, just can't prove it

Well the run is over, I have been a owner of a DSM since 1994 and have owned like 8 of these cars and never thought I would ever get rid of my 1g eclipse witch was one of the cleanest 1gs I have ever seen.
However this is what happens when your wife goes out of town on bussiness trip and cheats on you, leaving me with my 2 kids ,$275,000 house 2 cars and about $4000 in bills, so the next thing to help me get caught up was to sale my DSM

There was nothing worst then seeing and hearing my car drive off, then even worst when the guy got on the highway about a mile away and I can hear it.

I guess it is what it is, but the site is a awesome place to be and I will probly still be a member here, met alot of cool and nice ppl at the DSM shootouts and ppl that have DSM's..

Sorry to hear this man. This is one of my biggest fears in life - to find a girl, marry her and then have her cheat and leave after establishing a life, home and assets together.

Get a good attorney and sue her; I hope Oklahoma is not a no-fault state like Florida. I've been through the divorce route and I assure you that you'll move in a couple of months.

I only have one advice for you - please don't use your kids as a weapon in the divorce, you'll just end up hurting them. Think about how the divorce will affect your kids, even if she doesn't. Good luck to you, my friend!

I feel your pain bro. Same thing happened to me in the middle of my rebuild and long delayed return to the DSM world. Girl cheated on me and I went off the deep end. I ended up parking the car and letting it rot for 2 years while I could get my shit together. Been trying to restore the poor thing ever since. On the bright side, I met a girl who is 100 times better than the ex and unlike the ex she loves cars like I do. Got engaged last year and it's been smooth sailing ever since. Good things come to those who wait and have been wronged. On the bright side, while you get back on track, your car will live on and make someone else happy. Good luck

I was in a similar situation and did the same thing quiet a few years back. Well selling the car did help in the short term but it wasn't long before I was in financial trouble again. I had to get a consolidation loan and cut way back of a alot of things for awhile . Luckily I found a new job the paid more then double what I was making and pulled myself out of the hole and vowed I would never make it possible for a woman to put me there again. I am remarried now to a wonderful woman so things do get better. I currently have 2 1g's and looking for a stock or close to stock 2gb GSX

Well guys I am calling it quit on my GSX. On the way back to my friends house last night I think the head gasket let go. May have something else gone bad since when its running there is water coming out of the exhaust as soon as it start running. Goes threw my crack in the manifold. This has not been the only problems with my car. In 3000 miles the problems have just gone on and on. So I am going to fix the car as long as nothing else has broke. Then its going up for sale. I would like to keep the car but need something to get back and forth the college and work with out the daily small repairs. Right now its car shopping time so I can get around. Ill be around till I can get the car back to my house and start tearing it apart.
