BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! quiter. i see motor and trans all the time for under $500. too bad, so sad. that vg30 in ## nissan has a $hit load more common probs than the 4g63. i took NATT (nissan advanced technician training) while i was at UTI. i am qualified to say the 300 zx WILL break if you hot rod it. you may want to trade that for another dsm so you dont get ####ed in the long run.

oh, and i dynoed one that was running good (non turbo) pretty sad. under 200 HP to the wheels

So what? DSM's in stock form make less than 200 whp.

Not sure where this thread belongs, but feel free to move it mods.

Well now, after 8 months with my 92 n/t, its time to let it go. After all the work I have done to it just to get it back in order so I could start modding it, I have over 2k into it. I hate to see it go, I love this little b#$%^!, and for a n/t it flies (i can hit 70mph in 3rd at 5000 rpms in about 8 seconds, just a guess mind you), but I realize with the economy and the gas prices, I can't afford to keep dumping money into a FWD n/t. Think its time to look for a GSX or the talon/laser equivalent. But for now I have my hands on an 84 Fiero 2m4. I really wish I could keep it, but I don't even have the time anymore to do the rest of the maintenance that still needs done, like timing belt, etc.

Although I have learned a lot about our cars in the past 8 months. Main thing I have learned is that they are a giant pain in the balls, but still wonderful cars nonetheless. And I couldn't have learned it without the help of you all :) Such a great community here at DSMtuners :) So to all of you who have helped me out with my myriad of problems, I salute you (in a daffy duck ass backwards form :D) and thank you profusely.

I probably won't be around much (will stop in from time to time to check the newbie forums to see if I can help with anything) but I will be back though in the DSM world, sad to say its hard to walk away from it all LOL. Hopefully soon, things will all come together and I can have myself a nice 12 second GSX :D can't wait for that day.

hehe, the guy that is buying it had a 94 fwd n/t already. So at least I know its going to a good home :D

And to think, I just changed the oil this morning to valvoline max life synth blend and flushed the radiator.

And its not so much that I've outgrown the the n/t, more like I want the fiero and I want to turbo that for now til I get a gsx :D looking at an 87 grand am 2.0 turbo (LT3 motor with a T2) that I want to drop into the fiero 2m4. That car already flies with a 2.5 n/t in it. I can only imagine what it would do with a turbo 2.0
 
oh I intend on it Twistaye :D found a 97 Eclipse for sale already and a 94 ESi that needs a valve job and timing belt that I'm thinking of buying...

Damn I gotta stop looking at DSMs LOL :D
 
Got rid of my GSX yesterday. An offer I couldn't refuse came along and I had to take it. The car I've always wanted, a 3000gt VR-4 was offered to me for my car and I took the opportunity.
