Mines gone...member since 2002. Going to finish school and get a new Dodge Challenger R/T or SRT8 M6. Good news is, the guy I sold the Talon to is building it to go 10's and wanted it for its clean body/paint, so it went to a good home.

I recently sold my GSX. It had been for sale for a year and I dropped the price considerably. I wasn't as sad to see it go as I thought I would be. I had a lot of fun in that car over the past 5 years but I am growing up (slightly) and I really wanted a new car. Trading my Jeep in and taking delivery on an 08.5 MazdaSpeed 3 on Thursday.

I don't know what all this garbage is about growing up and getting a new car, there's nothing better then rocking a very clean old car, doesn't matter what age you are.

p.s. I rather get it debt modifying a DSM then making car payments on that Mazda. But to each his own good luck and we'll probably see you in a few years

I don't see anything coming out of the exhaust. Unless you're talking about the rainwater standing in the road. Look at the driveway and the dry spot underneath the car.

I felt exactly like you once as well. You'll get over it and realize there are more important things in life besides having a fast car.

Thats my set up I havent daily driven a dsm in 4 years

But I didn't go out a buy a brand new car for a DD cause I get no satisfaction in that.

This isn't goodbye, more like see you later. I sold my soul to the devil. My Spyder is now in the hands of another who gave me the impression that he plans to beat on it the best he could without doing any maintence. I'm actually really sad, I knew it would hurt, just didn't think it would be this bad. Anyways I'll still be around and post when I can. In the mean time I'll be doing some car shopping. I got a few cars in mind and I'll post pics of which ever car I get. Then I plan to get a 1g and get back in the game. Till then, see you all later.

Well i recently sold all my dsms i owned and was looking for a 2gb awd but came apon a 89 nissan 240sx. I always liked them but everyone that i know that ownes one has huge rust problems.. So i got more information on the car and found out it originally came from virginia. Went to pick it up and it is solid.. Not a spot of rust. Although i did pay a very heavy mount for it. So far i am very happy. Its sr swapped and fairly stock. It does have suspension work and handles amazing. The interior is in mint condition. Just wanted to show it to the dsm community to see what you guys think. I know in the end sometime ill be back.

How much?

For rust haha you have to completely strip the car and search every semm for rust if you find any the shells junk.

Not to mention it looks freshly painted they probly fixed most of it.

Sr20 240s are fun, one of my best friends has had 2 since 04, so ive driven/ridden/worked on them alot. Used to a be a t25 car. Now hes got a big holset, cams, etc.

As far as taste goes, stock body and different wheels would look nicer. Congrats on the new whip!
