Not too much done to it. HKS exhaust, downpipe, FIPK, HKS SSQV, MBC.

FMIC and some other fun stuff is coming soon. ;) There is only 50k on the car.

The GSX was a really nice car, I loved it. I only got rid of it because a VR-4 was my dream car.

Thanks for all the compliments guys!

Beautiful car. Lucky man.
So you traded your car for the VR4, right? How did that swap come about?

Nice! When you know what you want, and it comes your way, of course you can't pass it up.

SL 3000gts are dead slow pigs! your friend must be jealous.

Haha, that's the truth. He might be, I'm not too sure. He really loves his base even though it's slow.

He has a VR-4 sitting is his basement that we're rebuilding though. It'll come alive eventually. ;)

Yeah, I traded.

I have been talking to the guy for a while now. He was from Maryland and I'm from NH and he wanted my previous car (S14) but I didn't end up selling it to him. Then when I bought the GSX he told me that he'd come up and buy it from me. I told him I didn't really want to sell it and that I would rather trade for something. He told me that his buddy was selling a VR-4 and that when it caught my interest. From there on we planned it out and decided to meet in Albany, NY. Two days ago is when we met. Straight trade.

I don't think i'd be able to get rid of a GSX that beautiful. Although that VR4 is sick.
Engine pics by chance? That's really low miles 50k???
Thanks for the compliments! I will take an engine pic today for you. And yeah, to find 50k on a VR-4; absolutely amazing. :)

Very nice GSX and vr4! But damn how many hours does it take to mow your lawn?
Thanks!

Haha, my buddy (with the red base) and I actually run a mowing business over the spring/summer/fall. So we get it done pretty quickly. BTW if you need a lot of money fast. Mow Lawns. ;)

Thanks again guys!

Nice, I was in the market for one due to seeing my buddies 94 with 47,xxx original miles ROFL, what year is it? and nice 99 Front End :thumb:

Nice looking CARS.... I have a special place in my Heart for the 3KGT!

methinks that GSX > that VR-4.

then again, ive never been too impressed with the 3KGT platform. overpriced, overweight and underpowered. didnt they finally break into 9's just recently?

Congrats on the trade. 50k original miles is good, especially in good working order. Those cars tend to sell for a decent chunk of money when clean, and low mileage. I think you got a good deal doing a straight trade.

I think they broke into the 9s last year, and hit the 8s this year.

I LOVE the 6g72's....got spoiled on them by my mom's GTS 5 speed 3g i used to rock back in high school....man I loved that car...I might get flamed for that one but I scared many a friend with that car....plus i had a plymouth sundance duster v6 five speed that not many people know about which shares the same low compression bottom end as the 3kgt's with chrysler 2 valve heads in a 2600lb car ( little torque monster is what i called it althought jenny lynn was her name)....like I said I LOVE the 6g72's torque and midrange and Im sure your enjoying the twin turbo's on top of that! Nice pic up man Im jealous:thumb:

The GSX was perfect besides the fact that someone kicked in the driver door and keyed right above the handle. :(

The VR-4 is mint.

They broke into the 8's this year. :dsm:

You are correct. 8's it is.

LOL It's still in his garage. :rocks:

The latch is only as strong as the part that it is attached to. You could always get these - Aerocatch Hood Pin Latches

But yeah, where are the engine pics? :D

Okay, so those are pretty badass and that first picture of the 3000gt with 99 front end is so nice looking! I want that hood.

The engine is clean, but nothing special yet.

I think I might wait to show you guys the motor once I'm done changing up some things. :sneaky:ROFL

I quit. I just got my clutchmasters stage 4 clutch in today and was happy because my car was running perfectly. just getting used to the new feel and i stalled a few times but was hoping it was no big deal. well, tonight i was driving on the freeway and came to a stop due to a toll bridge. After I started driving again I was in 1st gear and shifted to 2nd and I heard a loud pop sound from the engine bay. Suddenly my car wouldn't rev up and the speed was dropping fast. Tried to shift gears again to see if that would work and it just kept dropping. Didn't overheat or anything. Had to get it towed 30 miles back home, tried to start once I got back and it will stay running if I keep my foot on the throttle but once I let it off it dies. I'm tired of spending money on this piece of crap. I'm at my wits end and just needed to vent my frustrations. I was literally tempted just to leave it on the bridge and just let it get impounded then count my losses. Ugh.
