Yup, know the feeling. It wasn't just a DSM this happened with. It was also my '94 Supra, and my '92 SHO.

I just sold mine Friday night December 15 for $1,700, i wasnt even home to say goodbye to the car the guy picked it up while i was at work and now im rolling in a 1986 Toyota Corolla SR5 with a carburated 1.6. I went from around 200hp to around 60 soo much fun, now i save up for a 2G, again. You just cant escape the grasp of these cars.

It was sad to see my '93 TSi go when I sold it. What made it even harder was that the kid I sold it to blew the turbo seal and then hit a tree head on with it. This happened in a 4 month period. .

When I bought my 92 AWD I was reborn a happy man again Once a DSM'er, always a DSM'er.

Yup. I remember I had to sell my 96 GS. I loved that thing even tho it was pig slow...looked real good (see my gallery...the red eclipse). I was choked up when it pulled away. Although, the sight of having a 2gb GSX in the driveway helped.

Ok guys I just sold my talon tsi awd auto I got 7,500 for it and had less than 3,500 that includes the 400 I paid for it. I had to get a suv its bad ass though so its not like I dont like it, thank god. This is what I do though for fun is fix nice cars up for cheap and sell them but I was thinking of keeping this DSM though but my wife and soon to be son changed my mind I need the room. Ill get another one though it will be a few years though cause my son but its all good!! I really thank you guys for all the info over the months!! Keep it between the ditches...Later Oh yhea im 6'4" and 282 lbs so its nice getting some thing I fit in. I lift to damn much.

i just sold my crankwalked 2g. its been broken for 2 years and i finally got the balls to let it go. someone just got a great deal and i lost out on some loot. i just wanted to thank everyone for a great site. i learned a lot from this site.I have decided to finally get awd. Hi,

Let me begin by saying that I've gone over to the dark side. I have sold my 99 Eclipse GS-T after a troublesome 2 year period that included many replacements amounting up to $3000.

The turbo will be missed but now I am in a new land of high revving VTECs and hammer-in-the-head "Lifts" of the VVTL-i. Got myself a nice reliable red 2000 Celics GT-S with only 68000 miles.

Before I bid this wonderful community farewell I just want to thank all the really nice members who helped me out in my DSM problems. Especially a big fat thank you to those who calmed my fears regarding crankwalk!!

Though I never actually helped out anybody (being acutely handicapped regarding car mechanics) and seldom posted here I always knew someone would help me out. Once again THANK YOUU!

P.S. Yes... crankwalk issue IS SO OVER-BLOWN! Driver your DSM nice and she'll serve you (somewhat!) better.

Yep, the DSM is gone.

And, after owning as many as I've had, it's time for a break. I don't think I'll own another one for quite a while.

So, on to the next project : FD RX7, and I don't intend to use a rotary in it

i sold my 91 and im trying to sell my 95......ill always be a DSM'r, but instead of letting it set on jack stands, i'd rather sell it to someone that wil have better use for it and time to do something with it.
hopefully ill have me another one this summer, but we'll.

well sorry I have not been around a lot guys, things around my neck of the woods have been so busy. I have been training my brother to fight NHB, Taking care of my daughter and just down right BUSY....Any ways, I am looking at picking up an RX-7 I need something new, and im not sure if a GSX would make me feel better or not..Dont get me wrong, ill still have the ol GS 420A-T but just wont be spending as much time and money on it. I dont know maybe ill fix it up and leave it for my daughter when she becomes of age. Any ways guys its been fun and I will alway hang around the dsm forum's because the dsmtuner community is like and always be family to me. Laters

So today I said goodbye to my second 2g GST that I have owned, and probably my last. Time for something good on gas and has a warranty. I may come back around from time to time to lend my years of experience with DSMs to the everlasting onslaught of newb questions. Goodbye and good luck to all!
