I was also thinking about selling my dsm for a fox body mustang, and goign all motor. Turbo cars are just to much money to keep up. But i just decided im going to get a Shep trans, Gt30r, and SMIM. Ive put way to much time and money into my tsi. If i was you id get a Fox body mustang. But out of yuor selection i would choose the srt-4, unless you have tons of money for the mantinece on the M3.

haha you guys are great this is why i miss this site! just playing.... i'm already done with the SRT-4 ! i have no clue what to get next (sold it a few days ago) I am thinking about returning to the DSM WORLD!!!!!!!!! if i find a nice 2gb gsx for the right price.

03/04 Cobra

IMO its the dsm of the boosted V8 world. most the things you know transfer over, unlike other 4.6L, the 03/04 cobra motor can handle 650+HP, which is double the power handling stock, basically like a 4g63 but with 4 more cylinders! its a 6spd that can handle almost anything south of 700hp. IRS is crappy but can be fixed and be made to handle that power with a little money.

like a dsm, the mods are cheap. unlike a dsm, the car still is gonna cost you sub 20k.

miss my 03 cobra. love my new addition (gsx) though.

I think when he said boosted he means supercharged. That is one of the only mustangs I would actually own. I see one on the base I work at all the time. Its such a sexy car. I would actually join the darkside with one of those cars. I love the wine colored ones.

Yeah thats what I thought, but think about a Turbo'd Cobra... no need to worry about turbo lag because even N/A there is traction issues, so why would you want more low end torque? and with turbo you would be at full boost faster then a SC. Just my .02

Hey West, remember me? I was the one who bought the exhaust off you last year. I just bought an Evo so if you do get another dsm, i'll sell you the exhaust back for the same price you sold it to me for Anyways, as for your poll, go for the wrx or s2000. The rx7 is too old and I hear they have too many problems with the rotary engine. You can also try to get a good deal on a used Evo.

yeah but that car was just ugh. doomed from the get-go. you know some cars are cheap just cause the owner doesnt have to care about it anymore and lets it go for cheap just to see it gone, and some cars are cheap cause theyve been beaten to death and back and it shows? yeah, that car was the latter.

though my current purchase leaves him pondering coming back to the dark side.............will krazywhitboy return to dsm's?..................only time will tell.

I still have the GSX but i'm selling it soon. I had enough money for an Evo so I took the opportunity and bought one. Yeah the exhaust sounded really good, i'm going to look for one for the Evo after I break in the engine. But the SRT-4's do have a mean sound to them. I saw you driving yours a couple months back in Concord.
