well, wednesday i will be purchasing a 2005 saturn ion redline. my 3 dsm's...

1g n/t
2g n/t
1g awd

are going to be sold. i was looking for something newer and nicer instead of my 1g, but something that still had a little go. what are you guys' opinions on it? try not to be so biased too, haha. oh, and i was looking but couldn't find a definite answer, i'm pretty sure the lug pattern of the redline is 5x110, my friend has a 1g n/t that has really nice wheels he is willing to sell me, will they fit? and do you guys know any forums and/or vendor sites for redlines?

I personally like the redline. It has sharp body lines and I haven't seen one yet on the road. Has a decent amount of power in it too.

My best friend has a redline, it's a pretty decent little car. Kinda funny when a pickup can out run it though

I left the DSM world for a harley davidson F150 and I have not looked back. Obviously, I still check in once in a while

No, they won't fit. Our lug pattern is 5x114.3 I have tried on my friends car and we failed miserably. Don't waste your time haha

Both good sites for the RL since the s/c ss is basically the same car, just rebadged.

They're surprisingly fun to drive on the autocross course. Not all that fast, but fun. They also suck on the highway (or at least my buddies did...)

I no they are fun to drive. And there is a turbo kit that puts out 8PSI safely on the motor and dynoed at 230hp on pump gas. Ill be hanging with yall

The camaro is fully gutted and weighs in with a full tank of gas and me inside at 2,900 pounds! HONDA CIVIC RACE GUT BABY


Car has Long tubes,lid,gutted airbox, dump exhaust, QAL Drag coil overs up freind with a 4.10 gear and a Pro 5.0 shifter, bone stock with a street tire it ran 13.2!

Hasnt been run yet, but im picking up a TREX cam and looking to go 10.9s cam only on MOTOR!

Im picking up lower control arms and a few other things for it this week, Im in love with it

I find it rather entertaining that for 2007, my goal is to chase down the F-bodies and late-model Mustangs in autocrosses and drags this year. Who knows how that will turn out, got to get the engine built first.

If you just wanted something that runs, why not get something actually considered reliable? That 300ZX is way to heavy and slow without the sequential TTs. Plus, it's indistinguishable from the TT except by the "twin turbo" badge on the rear so it's safe to say you're going to have those POS dsm's fvcking with you all the time now.

Not true....the front bumpers have vents for the intercoolers on the turbo models... The non turbos do not.

Well, I've put a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and money into this car...it was my baby. It consumed all of my hard earned money and all of my free time. It was my hobby. It got to the point where I couldn't keep paying for stuff that was breaking and it was becoming a huge money pit, but I still loved it. I finally ended up selling it for 11,000. I wish I could've got more, but due to it being winter in WI and it's on 18" rims with summer tires, it's ok. I almost cried watching it pull out of my driveway. It's not even 5 minutes since it pulled out and I'm already searching for a 1g to build up. I need a reliable DD for college next year, which is why I sold my talon, so I need a project car now.

Oh well, sad day for me, anyone else get real sad when they sell their DSM? (I know it's "just a car" but when you put this much time into them, it's different, one of a kind sort of.)
