i have an automatic, not sure if manual have the overdrive option, but when racing "say" 0-60 haveing overdrive on or off witch is better? 60-100 have overdrive on or off witch is better, thanks peace.

Take it off from 0-60, you want to go fast, not cruise, so I'd say take it off for actually 60-100 too. Overdrive is for when your off the throttle, and for lets say "spirited driving" you dont need overdrive, because your at WOT.

ill give you rep thx man, also whats WOT

WOT=wide open throttle, full throttle. it will not use overdrive unless your cruising or way over 100 fullthrottle, so it shouldnt matter one way or the other

I also have an auto and overdrive basically shifts almost at redline everytime if your on the throttle. Also, it will stay in the lower gears but rev up to higher rpm's before shifting. Basically, with the overdrive on, the car with try to shift early on you so it revs lower. With it off, the car will try to stay in lower gears, but it will be revving at a higher rpm.
