Quick Vacuum gauge question

im tryin to hook up a vaccume gauge to my 93 2.0 NT talon and i was wondering where would be the best spot to T- into.. i tried the P port line with the red stripes on it but it reads 0 vaccume at idle and only 10 when i give it gas.. pictures would help if you cant describe it well.... thanks

Try the line that goes to you fuel pressure regulator. This should give you a good vaccum source

the FPR is the best spot to do this with

The P port is "ported", and is covered by the edge of the throttle butterfly at idle. Try one of the ones next to it, if the fuel pressure regulator line is somehow inconvenient.

i used the FPR line and it worked great.. thanks guys... i got another quick question, i know it doesnt belong here but i dont wanna start a new post for a easy question. any ways i hook up those indeglo gauges and for the power wire i used the red 12v. one that goes to the back of my cd player but now when i turn it up a little it shuts the amp off for the subs..i think maybe the gauges are draining too much power from the cd player maybe?. wheres some good places to tap into other then the cig. lighter for a 12v. source that shuts off with the key.
