Quick Vacuum Question

How many vacuum hoses are on a 1g DSM? I figured I better get them replaced sooner or later and do a boost leak test as well. Just wondering how many hoses there are and where their all at?

I would recommend you look up the vacuum diagram in the VFAQ 1000 website or get yourself a factory manual CD off Ebay. Your best bet is to just get like 25 to 50 feet of vacuum line and replace on hose at a time.

what is vfqa 1000 website? Also I have a haynes manual is that the same as the cd your talking about?

No, if you search Ebay they sell the Mitsubishi Factory manuals on CD for like $10. They are great and have a bunch of other useful stuff on them. The VFAQ 1000 I was referring to was the 1000 Very Frequently Asked Questions website. Great place www.vfaq.com

Dont use and vacum kit from autozone or anyplace else. I bought one by 3a racing and it melted the "high temp silicone" The Wall thickness is really thin and sucks itself shut.
