quick question about exhaust manifold bolts

Ouch ya thats pricy LOL if i were you go to your local hardware store, like Ace and get the high grade bolts with lock washers and you'll be good to go:thumb:

If you are on the stock turbo, then there should be only 3 actual bolts and the other one is a stud. I would highly advise not getting those bolts from ACE and actually ordering these arps you posted. Or get some oem ones off of jnz tuning or stm. But there they are like 9 a bolt i think.

I have a stock 99 gsx and the 4 bolts on the exhaust manifold look shot, is this what I should get instead? just wanna be 100% $26 for 4 bolts is a bit pricey LOL.

First, unless there is a exhaust leak (or other problem), replacing these bolts just because the 'look shot' may not be wise. They are known to break off in the housing, leading to other 'time consuming' problems. That said...
As the other poster noted, one should be a 'stud', if all four are bolts, then things may not be as 'stock' as you think. (hopefully the bolts are!)
As suggested, stay away from the 'hardware store'! They do not sell the correct bolts (type of material, hardness, etc) you need for this connection. If you use them, they will generally 'freeze' into the housing and you will NEVER get them out. Go OEM...as others suggest!
Try JNZ for OEM hardware, or ExtremePSI, both are great. The OEM bolts have an '11' on the top of the bolts, and are made to withstand the great pressures and temps. (uhless you get them as a 'complete set', don't forget the convex washers, two per bolt. They are not your standard washers.
Finally, don't forget to use the 'correct' Anti-seize. JusMX141 (the turbo expert) told me to get the "Nickel based" product, the copper based stuff (generally available) is not rated for a high enough temperature. I could not find it locally, and had to get it online.
If you ever want to get these bolts 'out' at a future date...please spend the extra $...it will be well worth it in the end!

Hope this was helptful...need rep points! (...kidding...)
