Question for those who have an exhaust cut out

I'm looking to make a custom down pipe with a 3" cutout, normally it will run through the cat back and what not but the cutout part will be going through the front fender. That doesn't really matter.

My question is will I see a massive amount of boost creep? I will be using a QTP 3" electric cut out that is on the Y pipe.

That's a lot to fit on the 90* bend coming right out the turbo. Why not just put it under the car? A picture of mine is attached.

With my cutout I noticed a lot faster spool but I never had an issue with boost creep but I never ran under 15PSI

Thats great to hear! I wont be running under 22psi so hopefully I will have the same luck

I'm Not going to go with the typical DSM down pipe. I saw a pic by Paul 99gst_racer of his custom down pipe and I'm looking to go with something very much like his, granted his turbo(s) are mounted a bit higher but I think I can make it work with out getting a wicked bend.

I like the cutouts...I just put my full exhaust back on after having only the DP on.

I liked the dp only alot better than I do the full exhaust..Cutouts are pricey, even on ebay..But are very effective.
