I did my boost gauge install but the vaccum hose I used is one size too big to fit snuggly onto the fitting at the back of the boost gauge. Now I was going to use some kind of sealant and clamp later when I have time for the permenant install.
In the meantime I was wondering what effect on my car that a leak in tube that I tapped into would have. I tapped into the tube coming out of the passengers side of the fpr? solenoid like all the vfaqs said. When sitting in the car at idle, the hissing from the tube to my boost gauge is quite audible so there is definitely some outside air being sucked in and probably blown out under boost. I have a tight schedule the next week and would like know if this is hurting anything performance-wise until I get this sealed up.
Thanks for the help.
