My question is.. is it possible to take out the engine harness without having to take apart the whole interior? i made a swap from a 1.8 to the 2.0 4g63 and i need to take out the old engine harness to put my new harness to hook it up to the ecu. thank you...

The harness only runs from the ECU up behind the fan/ a/c stuff under the dash and into the engine bay. The only pain is running it down through there. You have to remove the stuff under the dash. Not the heater core and all that though.

well it sure is hell was a pain to take a harness out!!
The parts car i got the harness i needed, i destroyed the ac unit haha! Glad its a parts car!
but what i did, cause YES you do have take it apart, had my mech cut the old one cause i don't need it and how many people you see loking for a 1.8 harness?? and I will feed some pull string in the hole tap up the end of the side going in the cabin and tie and tap up the string to and and pull it in... then tuck and ziptie whatever you need to ziptie!!

Good luck!

so i would have to remove just the underneath dash from the passangers side right? and is this the same for plymouth laser 90 and 91? the reason is because sunday am going to a junk yard and hopfully i find 1 to get the harness.

ok i got it. but i though that the harness only had 1 computer box and i just found out that it comes with 2......????? does that mean i have to buy x2 ecu's for the 4g63 harness or does that harness only contain 1?
