Question about air intake

Hey guys ,my friend made a air intake pipe with two nipples,one for Blow off valve and the other for hose which comes from valve cover,when he installed in his car it has a nice blow of sound and you can hear the turbo sound really good
so i decided to make my own intake pipe too,i bought the aluminum 3 in pipe make two holes one for blow of valve another for Valve cover hose,i installed it into my car,and there is no difference between my home made air intake and stock rubber one,i got no sound like he does.both of us got the K&N air filters,my friend has ported 14b and i got small 16G,so why so big difference between mines and my friend home madded air intake???

you dont need the valve cover breather to go back to the intake unless you want your intake system and ic lined with oil. and the line from the bov to the intake pipe shouldnt just be a vaccum line.

my friend used to have valve breather,but he took it off couse the breather were leaking oil,so i don't want that my engine has oil all over the place

get a small inline fuel filter for $5 or get a quality breather.

Or get a catch can from ebay for 10 dollars.

But i reccomend the fuel filter solution, make sure you change it however nad get a decently sized one and insert it inline on the vacuume line from the mani to the intake
