putting battery in the trunk question

my qustion is wheres the hole in the firewall or do i have to drill one (### i hate drilling through firewalls ) is there a stock wire boot that i could run the gauge wire to the back to?

The stock Harness boot. Cut a hole in that and run the wire through there. Its right beneath the battery tray....can't miss it.

Yep, since my tranny blew I've had some time to work on some other things, like placing the battery in the trunk, just carefully put a little slit in the boot and slide the cable though.
