Punishment Racing Smic kit bov wont fit

when installing my PR piping kit for my 1g it make the bov sit sideways towards the battery. Is this correct? and it make it so the bov wont fit because the throttle cable box is in the way. What do i do? Reroute the cables or what options do i have.

Also changing the pipe around then makes it upside down and it hits my intake pipe.

Get some pics up to help. Sometimes it is easier to help you out when you have something to look at.

Did you try flipping the bov around?

Edit: just noticed your from Gillette. I used to be in Worland, I got a buddy working on the rigs up there in gillette.

I have the same kit on my 1g. I had to use a after market intake pipe and filter for it to fit right. IDk if this pic will help but here ya go

The main problem you have is the location of the cruise control box on a 1990. On the 91-94 it's not a problem.

Get a non-cruise cable of the classifieds or one of our vendors. This will help you with the clearance issues by eliminating that big steel cruise box in general. You will have a cable shooting out the firewall to your TB and thats it.

That's a good way to go, if you are a cheapskate or don't want to wait, you can cute the cable from the firewall, right at the cc box, then run it directly to the throttle linkage. I left about 6 inches on the throttle body end, so i didn't have to solder the little dowel back on, and used heavy duty commercial fishing wire clamps to connect them. It works, but I'll probably order the non-cruise control cable so it doesn't look like I'm trying to catch a marlin with my throttle cable.

i unbolted the box simply and turned it on its side. Everything fits perfectly now. Thanks yall
