2G Punishment Racing Free Bov

Okay so i ordered the punishment racing fmic kit for my 2g, and i guess it came with a free "greddy style"? Bov, my question is, has anyone used this before or does everyone just throw it away? Im currently on a 'crushed' 1g bov, didnt know if i should just stay with the 1g or try out the free one with the kit,

I got mine with my FMIC kit but stayed with my crushed 1g BOV, I am actually about to switch over to that BOV because my crushed will only hold 24psi and I'm shooting for 28psi. Depends on what your goals are. Find out what your 1g BOV can hold and as long as you plan to stay 4+psi under that you'll be fine

Keep the 1g bov. IMO the punishment bov is junk. I had good luck with the Forge Motorsports 1g bov held 25 psi with no problems. Or look into NGR or a genuine Greddy bov.

I gave mine away, only held like 12psi.

They leak and never hold the boost you want. I had one on a project car and ended up throwing it up on a shelf.

Mine is a paperweight in my office, looks cool, but thats about all its good for.

Mine is just a decoration on my shelf. But I already had a real Greddy tire type S and seen no reason to trade it out for a knock off type S. But I'm with every one else. Keep the 1g. Proven parts are always better then knock offs

I guess I'll find out tonight how it holds up in a BLT test. otherwise I'll be shopping for a proper bov.

It will work fine for a t25 but anything with good cfm will blow it apart. My cheap ebay one works fine on my 2g daily driver
