If I am correct you can't get it to fit good because the dipstick is in the way? So bend the dip stop out of the way a little to get it to fit.

Like clipto mentioned it sounds like you just need to bend the dipstick slightly to gain the extra clearance needed.

You can always email us at [email protected] with any technical or installation questions you may have.

I'll give it another shot. Just that taking off that stock o2 is a pita. Esp that bolt that nears the engine:notgood:

After you have already had it off once a wrench should be all you need to get it off again. My recirculated SS o2 housing from punishment fit fine though without having to mess with the dipstick at all...

It shouldn't be nearly as difficult the second time though. I have taken mine off since installing my exhaust and it was a lot easier than the first time.

I'm thinking that even if I force it to fit. It'll be rubbing. The O2 housing is pretty beefy. Seem like it was a very very tight fit to to point where I will have to bend the dipstick. But I'll see how it goes.

my buddy just installed a punishment racing O2 with external dump and said he had to bend his dipstick for the wastegate to fit.

Why don't you just take the dipstick out? It is attached with a bolt. One yank, and it will come out. It wouldn't hurt to replace the o-ring there anyway. Just make sure you put a little piece of rag or something over it while it is out to prevent debris from entering.

You just bend it out of the way. Pull the stick out so you don't accidentally break it off and yank the tube over. I have done it to cars many times and it can even help getting the back bolt.
