Punishment Racing Rad + Punishment External 02 Housing

Soo, I had some money saved up this past thanksgiving and thought it was time to upgrade on some stuff. I bought the Punishment Racing Rad + dual fans + shroud kit because of black Friday sale. I was the some price as a normal Rad/Fan kit would be so i was like, wth why not. Now i also bought a 38mm External 02 housing mid steel from them and my question is does anyone run this Radiator kit with an External waste gate? I know people run this kit without the shroud, have yet to see run them with the shroud since the fans are on bolted outside of it. Im scared that it wont fit with the wastegate and even have my fan a bit too close to the housing. Feed back would be nice.

So you bought the external waste gate off of the o2 housing correct? if so you will not have fitmit issues. Does the wastegate recirculate back into the exhaust or is it a dump?

yeah its a 38mm 02 housing dump, i had a wastegate already for it. So i bought the housing to run it. I am just scared that the left fan might be to close to the housing or even my wastegate hitting the shroud.

I think you will be fine. Punishment racing is a great vender and design all of there products well. They wouldnt sell as much as they do if things didnt fit. Plus you have an after market fan shroud right? anything is better then the stock ones. The stock ones are huge. You will be fine. No worries

Yeah i trust them, tho 1 bolt on each fan could not match the one hole on the shroud. Shouldnt be that big of a deal, just hoping it doesnt make a vibrate noise while i am driving. I did also just take a look at my current Stock set up, and i does seem that they bigger with my shroud and nothing touches now. Ill get a picture up on here so show how it goes. I bought the rad/fan/shroud kit as well. I put the fans on the shroud and I had the same issue. What I did you get all the bolts to line up is loosen all of them as far as you can without them falling out/just barely started. I was able to get them all started and all of them fit. It just took a bit of finagling.

hahah it worked! nice.. my fingers kinda hurt now .. i hate allen bolt cant use a wrench with them.

You should pick up a set of hex key sockets. I've also cut hex keys down and used a ratcheting gear wrench on them.

Let us know how the fitment is. I have a CX racing radiator and the punishment MVS o2 housing which is supposed to have more clearance.

I only have about 1 3/4 inch of space between the wastegate and radiator. So no slim fan for me .
