Im trying to pull the codes described here http://www.plymouthlaser.com/tcucodes.htm
I Got a couple questions i feel that the page dont go into details about for people with little/no experience.
Im going to try to keep my questions in order
1.too start off with you can use a digital multimeter you set it to DCV 20 correct?
2.What defines a short pulse anything under 10?
3. how do yo pull the exact codes seemed like i got codes that didnt exsist like 65 and 55
4. when at 0.00 is that considerd your starting point
For example my the multimeter would go 0.00 0.08 11.0 10.0 8.0 9.0 so on so forth
anyone got any input on this i think it would help newbies thanks

Just put the multimeter to continuity and it MUST BE AN ANALOG mulitimeter only. Digital doesnt work for check codes. Once put to continuity and connected to the obd1 port just watch the needle. You'll be able to tell the difference between the short and long pulses.

Short are very rapid and the longer ones the needle will stay for a second before returning. You also dont pay attention to anything but the pulses. Count them and that is your fault code number
