Pulling motor with or without trans

I'm pulling motor out of wrecked 95 GST and putting it in a 95 talon awd. Im pulling the GST motor with the trans cause its a piece of cake to pull the axles. I wanted to pull the Talon (awd) motor without pulling the trans but there doesnt look like theres enough room... What should I do? Any tips from seasoned DSMers would be much appriciated.

There's plenty of room. Just make sure you have a load leveler for your hoist, you need to tilt it as you pull it out.

I just did this. I tried it without taking off the trans first since I thought it would be easier. It wasn't. I took the pulleys off the front of the motor and still couldn't get the motor off the trans so I had to bolt it back together and take it as a whole. Just drop the TC off the trans and you'll have no problem
