Planning on pulling the motor with the tranny still connected tomorow. I have a 2 ton engine hoist. How much will I have to remove? As in turbo, intake manifold etc. I'd like to be able to take it out as intact as possible, removing as little as possible from the motor as it will just be going in another awd shell after I replace the timing belt, water pump and do the balance shaft delete.

You can keep it all intact. Remove the downpipe, transfercase, axles, heater hoses, wiring, and speedometer cable, and you can unbolt the motor mounts and hoist the entire thing out.

Excellent! This is good news.

How much does motor with head, intake mani, exhaust man and turbo weigh? Wondering if I can stuff it in the back of my explorer or if I have to get buddy to help me haul in his truck

Pulled it. Stashed it and the tranny in the back of the Xploder and drive it over to my storage where the gsx shell is.
Unexpectedly... Clutch is toast. Catastrophic failure of TOB. OEM. TOB. DAMMIT. Bent down half the fingers and wore a 1/8" deep groove in them. I can't use this clutch again.
