Anyway here are the pics, Everything weighs in at 21lbs which is atleast half the weight of the stock driveshaft.

The shaft is also certified at 800lbs of torque.

I have a bunch of small projects to do but will have performance results in a couple weeks.

I will take two dyno runs, on a mustang 500awd dyno. Then install the shaft on buddies hoist(20 feet away), take two more dyno runs with the shaft to show any improvements.

Anyway enjoy the pics, this thing is damn sweet!

Any question about the entire process just contact me.

This is a complete driveshaft, you will have to contact PST for cost.

thanks

Because i don't know what PST is selling it for. I have no idea cost!

Just give them a ring, pretty simple.

thanks

Just called, they have no idea what to charge........but they are calling me back with the price.

1g's have a slightly shorter driveshaft.

The best bet is to have a complete 1g driveshaft shipped to Mark at PST.

thanks,

Steven

PS to the previous question, this is the only full length replacement for a 2g available that keeps correct angles. Plus its lighter then aluminum and has better torional properties and better drivetrain shock properties..

I have to finish up some installs, most likely done by next friday. I hope to have some results soon.

So ive run into a little problem,

Tell me what you guys think,

My buddy is having troubles with his partners, wont get into details. I also have a serious issue with one of the fella's that now works at the shop. I want dyno numbers from before and after, but its the only location with an AWD dyno and i don't think i can bring myself to go there now.

I feel like shitza because i said to everyone i would provide some dyno numbers from before and after.

The best i can do now is use the Blitz power meter id. I know its crap, but i just can't bring myself to go there after the crap that has happent in the last week or so.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't ask anybody to sacrifice their principles, but it would be good to see data. I'd say just run the Blitz thing, but I don't know how accurate they are. I mean, I don't really know that it would be a measurable difference even if you had a dyno. Besides, REAL numbers don't much matter on a mod like this. I think Pct diff would be a more accurate measure (if any)

So, maybe just run a few times on the blitz, get an avg, change the part, do it again. Avgs are good enough for me.

And you could get your part on finally! That's always exciting.

I will do five runs on the same road and provide a before and after log on dsmlink. The log will include everything from wideband to boost so we can see if spoolup was helped etc.

well just from the pictures, i plan to purchase one eventually, im sure it helps.. would love to know some exact numbers but every car is different anyways. Let me know how the drivability is, is the car a daily driver? or driven on the street a lot? etc etc

HOLY CRAP. I'm not gonna lie, the car is something special. The Evo steering wheel, and an S2000 DASH??? Crap. I figured with all of that, you could've at least had an aftermarket head unit, LOL. Sweet car nonetheless. Can't wait to see the data.

What about dropping the t-case, installing a VCE, and using a 2WD dyno?

Just figured I'd throw it out there as an alternative option - after all, it's only 30 minutes of work. :thumb:

Also, did PST give you some sort of part number to reference for this set-up? I am a dealer for their product line, so I would love to see what my cost is on this. Let me know if you have any info you can share with us regarding ordering one of these.

That wont help much if he is trying to find out the power difference between the stock drive shaft and the PST. :p

I am also interested in a part number.
