Thats an impressive 60ft time for a FWD, and a great 1/4 time, keep up the good work.

Have you had a chance to weigh it yet at the track?14.5 drift said:is there like a project goodwill for an awd, and how much faster per dollar was it?
Im only on page 6 right now, reading the whole thing from start to finish. But ill go ahead and ask this now. With the 22" slicks are they still on stock axles. A friend of mine has some 24" slicks rdy for some 15" wheels but im just afraid of going to the track and breaking an axle with no way to tow the car home. My car only has 96k on it, motor and body, and im sure that laser has alot more useage on it then my GST. Was just wondering if the slicks would be a problem, lemme know, thanks
Thanks for the help. I was always told my axle were good for around 400-450whp. But im sure that doesnt count having a full race slick. Yea i always let out of it if it starts to hop a little.pneumo said:Your 2G FWD has larger axles than the FWD's made before the 93 model year, so you should be good. Just make sure you don't get wheelhop.
How much can the stock fwd axles handle? Im shooting for 500whp plus and hope to get some good passes on the stock axles.... I have 24.5x9.0 Hoosier Slicks on 13 inch drag bogarts, Tokico 5 way adjustbables, Tokico lowering springs, Prothane motor mounts,Tre Stage 2 tranny, Kaaz Lsd, Act 2600, etc.. Think they will hold up?

I'm definitely still around. I have been slacking on keeping the website up to date, but that is going to change soon. I will have a new site up soon with a live blog I will keep up to date.
The car ran a best of 10.84 @ 126 on the 14b and 10.61 @ 131.79 on the 14b with a 60 shot.
It has also run 10.5 @ 134.95 on a small 16g without nitrous and 10.1 @ 140 with an EVO # 16g and a 60 shot.
As far as the axles go, I'm currently running M/T 26" X 10" on 15" welds on stock axles. I had one day where I made an alignment adjustment that got me more traction. I broke 4 AXLES that day, but I made some adjustments to my technique (patent pending) and I havent broke any again.
I had my 16g gone over by Forced Performance and I'm going to try for 9s on the 16g the 1st week of february. Then I'll be having the chassis redone and going to an FP Green.
