hi all new to the forums here. i already have a 3g and now i found a 2g. its my old friends 96 (i think) gs. has a blown motor (maybe crankwalk). its a manual everything is still good, im thinking about just throwing a used engine in it and building it up to a street racer. and i was wondering what you guys think.

but here are the pics would have been better IF IT WAS NOT SNOWING!!!!! hopefully later on i will get some better pics.

now the only thing is that there is a playboy bunny on the hood and on the back window it says "lets play"

Well since its a gs you won't be dropping in a turbo motor unless you want to get into some fabrication to get it in there right. You can build the 420a and put a turbo on it if that excites you at all. In my opinion, if you are looking for a project car, get a gst or gsx with a blown motor because you will have a lot more fun with it.

thanks for the advice the reason why i was looking at this car it because i could probably get it for free. but i have been looking around for a gsx or gst with a blown motor but have not found one yet.

God another person thinking crankwalk destroyed there motor. ^ your right. Any motor can crankwalk but I guarantee that its not this case. How many miles are on it? If you have the money man then go for it. Otherwise get a GSX or anything else with 4g in it. Cheaper and probably more reliable. And please stop spreading the crankwalk rumor.

I say go find your self a 1g as long it is not the 1.8 you should good to go. AWD better for drag launches. Road Race (no street racing) is really about driver preference. So people are good at driving the FWD and some are better with AWD.

Street Racing is Dangerous and Illegal. BAD.

I'd say go for it if its free! Fix it and sell it if you'd rather get the turbo version. Either way, a free car is a free car!
