I just recently installed a Greddy 18r fmic, 1g bov, ngk sparkplugs, oil change and replaced vacumn hoses. After the install when under boost, the turbo spools really loud. Also, the idle is really bad, really low idle, like around 200-500 rpms. 50% of the time the car stalls at a stop. Any ideas? Thanks.

maybe a vacuum line issue. vacuum lines can mess with idle, but idk how vacuum lines problems would decrease the idle speed. A vacuum leak will cause idle to be higher, Im not sure if a vacuum line problem would make the idle lower. Maybe someone else on here know that. Maybe you mixed up two vacuum lines. Did you take all of the vacuum lines of and put them on by a diagram or did you replace them carefully to make sure you did not switch any around.

You have a major boost leak. That loud turbo noise is air hissing out one of your couplings on your IC piping. Boost leak test and tighten them t-bolt clamps.

I just remembered a few days before the installed mods, my friend lowered my idle somehow, because my idle was high(1200 rpms). I did tighten all the t-bolt clamps good and tight. Its a really loud spool noise, its from a leak from a coupler??? I have a boost leak tester, I will do a test as soon as I can, thanks. And by the way I did carefully replace the vacumn lines one at a time.
