Ok so i am going to start building my 2g 6bolt swap after i buy a FMIC from a guy on here ive been talking with. I was thinking of getting a 16g but i want something else so i was looking on precisions site and saw the 4854B and was wondering if anyone has used it or not? here is my current list of mods to car and the ones i am getting in a few weeks.

Current:
complete 6 bolt swap (0 miles on rebuild belive to be mild built but not 100% so stock to me)
ARP Headstuds
DNP manifold
Port and Polished head
greddy fmic and bov (soon as my money hits bank)
450cc Blue tops
2g fuel rail
gutted cat
Oil Pressure, Water temp, Volt, and boost gauges

Future mods before turbo:
Injen Intake
ECMlink v3 Full
650cc injectors
walbro 190lph fuel pump
aremotive fuel pressure regulator
AEM Wideband (will have before ECM link for current turbo)
3" Downpipe
3" exhaust piping
Tail 38mm wastegate
264/264 cams
Not sure of what brand MBC
Maybe SAFC

That is all i can think of at the moment i know i will need a o2 housing and an oil restrictor to run the Precision 4854B. And this will put me at the perfect range that i want to be at for this GST. I have done a similar build but ran out of money making the dang thing run and now i have a reliable one. If anyone has any info of what i may need or if they have ran this or has a better option i am all ears. Thanks

If you don't plan to upgrade again then its a good set up and you don't need the Fuel pressure regulator since your only using a walbro 190lph.

No Point in the SAFC if you have dsmlink it does all that and then some.

That with a good tune I think you will be set. Make sure your spark plugs and ignition are good though LOL.

I dont know much about the turbo but from the HP rating, who knows if its accurate at all, is around the same that you would get from a 16g with a good tune. The price range is the same but I wasn't able to find a flow chart for the precision turbo so not to sure how it stands next to the 16g.

Get a ball bearing turbo if your going pte, i saw threads on here regarding problems with some pte turbos.

ok cool but naaa once this is done its done my next project will be a 1g ive been eyeing, so no SAFC and no FPR. What would the best plugs and wires be for this set up?

NGK BPR6's or 7's. OEM spark plug wires are alright I went ahead and got the Magnecore 8.5mm ones since they have a life time warranty. And with ECMLINK you can literally do 100x what the SAFC can.

Also if you ever plan on upgrading further you might as well go with a walbro255 just something to keep in mind in case you ever upgrade. If your pretty sure you aren't then go with the 190 and what not. Its just more money when you try to re-buy and what not.

I have thought about a HX35 but would they be good on a stock block 6 bolt like i have? I plan on running 20psi through the engine soon.

We have great entry level turbos available- like the Evo III 16G. Stock fitment using OEM 1G oil lines, fits our OEM exhaust manifold and o2 housing, and it's about 100 times more durable than a journal bearing PTE turbo.

The 16g and T-28 have entry level turbo upgrades covered, nuff said. Beyond that a holset with a BEP housing is proven tried and true. Why these turbos preferred? Easy fitment, cost point, reliability.
