While searching for good turbo that wont break the bank, i came across "Precision Turbo Entry Level Turbocharger". They are advertised at Mapperformace for $599. At this price they give you several power options to choose from. These entry level turbo power range form 490hp-610hp. The turbo model are listed form 3231e-6076e. I don't know what these model numbers represent and i haven't seen any dsmer use these turbos. I just want to find out if anybody have good/bad experience form these turbos. Also, how are the spool time on these turbos?

I have a billet 5557 with the bolton housing, i guess i would say im happy with it, so far i made 372whp on pump with meth at 26psi. Ill throw it back on the dyno once i get my maft in and turn up the boost and maybe throw in some race gas. Spools to 26psi by 4k.

How much did you pay for with the billet wheels?

I think i paid around $900 shipped with the billet bolt on housing. HD internal gate, fittings lines and gaskets.

Wow, 900 is lil high for me but then agian mitsu housing is good to have. but i am leaning to the $599 turbos. i dont know what the spool up time on them, i dont want to wait till next day to get my get my turbo to spool. i dont think the $599 turbos come with the billet wheels so the spool time is going to be worst.

If you are not looking to spend $900 then maybe a 16g? Most of the smaller pte turbos are of the cunstruction as far as the t31 wheel but many comp. wheels or if you want to go bigger then opt for the t350 in a scm61. I say why pay the same price for a much smaller turbo. I like the idea of bolt-on turbos cause then one upgrade don't turn into ten. I have the pte 50 trim and I feel it's not enough for me and i'm now wanting the scm61. Btw, 24psi@ 3900rpm.
