So I'm getting ready to install a Precision 50 Trim turbo on my 1g Talon TSI. It has the bolt-on DSM exhaust flange. But I had a few questions before I dig in. Will there be any fitment problems with the front motor mount, or anything else like the big coolant line that runs behind the turbo? Also, will the stock oil drain work with it or will I need to buy an aftermarket soft line kit? I know the turbo isn't coolant cooled so I don't have to worry about that part. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

Do you have a picture of the O2 housing ?

Get a 1G/2G/Evo III o2 housing and port it to match. You can't run a housing with a divorced wastegate port on that housing.

A friend of mine is a top notch welder, and turbo builder. Hes going to take the exhaust housing, sand blast it and clean up the area. Then weld a plate in to fill that gap, then smooth everything out. Then I can use my open dump o2 housing.

Hope it works- welding mild steel to cast never works out too great because of the different rates of expansion. You could have no problems or all, or you could potentially ruin the housing.

So once I get this turbo on i'm planning on getting DSM link and have it dyno tuned. My question is what size injectors will I need? Right now the car has 680cc injectors. Has all other supporting mods needed but still on the stock motor. I'm shooting for a max of 400whp, I would be happy between 350-400. So will I need to upgrade my injectors before I have it dyno tuned? Also, it doesnt have an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator yet, is it necessary to have one?

Yes you need a regulator which will let you set and monitor your fuel pressure (never want to go lean on these motors) and remember on injectors you can never tune UP but you can always scale DOWN injectors that are more than you need. I myself am running FIC 1120's. I wasn't using all of that 1120 with my 20G turbo but now that I have a HX40 I will be using more of them, but I still don't think I will need all of what they can supply.
