I've done it for my FMIC install. There are two ways of doing it.

Linky Go to Post #5 and I've got the how-to and a picture of how it should look when done.

The other way that I've heard people can do it is to just mount the hard cooling loop behind the front center vertical support bar. I guess with some intercoolers that's possible, but with a few of them, there may be issues with pipe routing and such.

The other way is to just get an aftermarket oil cooler, the radiator style ones and mount that to the right of the radiator.

That's what I did...I just took the hard line out & looped the reservoir. You really don't need it unless you're doing some crazy autocross anyways.

Thanks a lot for the help. Have you noticed any negative side effects so far?

Thats what I was thinking of doing, and then I reminess the times of years it snows here, and the fun donuts and awd slides, and how that would be a pita on the hot power steering pump. :tease:

I haven't noticed any negative side effects. My power steering fluid is still a healthy pink. Eventually, I'll probably pick up a small oil cooler to install.

I just wanna know for sure if there can be any heating problem once you bypass that cooling line for the PS ?

Currently installing XS Power FMIC

tnx for answer
