So I wonder if anybody can help out with this problem Ive been rebuilding my car for the past 10 mths with my two good friends taking are time and everything of that nature, We got to the point yesterday where we can now start it. The issue that im having is that when we hooked up the battery some things had direct power running to them i.e. my dash, gauges (aftermarket) and a couple other things, which im thinking that is more or less a ground issue. The big kicker is that im not getting any power to my starter or fuel pump when I turn the key there is nothing and im completely stumped on this we ran through everything, besides trying a different ecu or am I just over looking something?

I'm having the same issue on a 97 also doing a 10 month build I'm stumped!!!!! Write me email if you fixed issue thanks ahead !

There's a wire that if it's not connected, the starter will not turn over. I think it's connected to the starter solenoid. It's a little wire that's pretty much separate from the other wires and sensors in the engine bay. If you weren't looking for it you would miss it.
