I decided it was time for a change and since I'm running out of things to do and building a head, the valve cover was next on the list. I wanted something unique, something that I had never seen done before but finding someone to actually do it was tough. After a few PM's back and fourth I decided to go with a fellow DSM'r (95TSIAWD$) Justin. I sent him a photoshop picture of what I had in mind which was a matte black base, gloss black letters, a fire red diamond star & oil cap. Heres what I sent him...
It only took him a month to order the red powder, find the valve cover I was asking for, and do an amazing job powder coating it! Today I found this on my doorstep when I got home from work, what do you think?

. You can always just take a sander to it if you can't get it to seal right. You'll never see that area anyhow. I'm glad you like it Corey! It was most definitely a fun project to work on, I love trying new things like that. It took a lot of time but definitely well worth it. BTW, my name on here isn't 95TSIAWD$, obviously
oh well at least it will look better than stock
I'll check it out once I get a chance and may just start to leave them with the powder on there if it would create a better seal for the oil cap since our stockers don't like to seal just right
