hey guys thanks for looking anyways Ok I was driving one day and I couldn't shift anymore. I pulled over opened the master cylinder reservoir and it was empty. So i took it to a shop and sure enough the slave cylinder was shot, ACCORDING to my mechanics who I thought I could trust. Non-the-less it was replaced. my clutch was firm and clutch grabbed at normal level. So i was driving the other day and i noticed my clutch pedal felt spongy. I also noticed my clutch would engage RIGHT AT THE FLOOR. So i took it back to the shop, well towed. anyways after days of having the car they claim they bled the system over and over again and ran out of options. So their explanation and final ruling was ITS A BAD PRESSURE PLATE. They didn't even take the trans apart to verify it. I'm very upset. so i brought it home with tears in my eyes. Ok so obviously you can adjust clutch engagement with the master rod under the pedal. Before i did this i noticed I CANT EVEN BUDGE the slave rod. Your suppose to be able to push the slave rod in BY HAND correct?. I couldn't even budge it. So i tried adjust my master rod. at one point i couldn't even shift, when i put the rod back to the original spot, i could shift but grabbed AT THE FLOOR. Now my question is....if its REALLY THE PRESSURE PLATE by the way its an "act 2600" i'm presuming a clutch kit with act pressure plate, would the car be drivable? I'm laid off and be-hide on bills. What happens if I drive the car only when i need it until i can get a new clutch combo, or perhaps the plate. I thought if it was the plate, you cant shift at all. I need advise and any tips for the love of Christ. BTW I DID NOT repeat DID NOT try adjust clutch pedal height, only the master rod. ### help me <3
