Questions on I bad pressure plate fingers

Well the story start with an act cluch kit, I was getting out of my drive in by going into reverse and firts to get it out by not scraping the drive in cause its low. Well by doing these I was in revers when I hear and grrrrr, then I wanted to gear first and would not go into gear so I turn it off to check if it will go into gear, it when into every single gear. So I turn the car and no into any gear, turn it off and put it into firts and it made an grinding noise, by going forward, then the noise changes to some metal loose inside. So I turn the car off and look under and found an finger from the pp. after that no more sounds, and it will shift smooth like it was before.

1 what could cause to brake with no sight could it not have play on top of the pedal, bad adjustment?
2 it's my dd so can I drive it normal?

Wow, had to read that a couple times. So you looked under the car and found a pressure plate finger? It is time for a new pressure plate before that puppy frags out and possibly takes the case out with it.

Did you install the jesus clip (the clip that holds the tob to the clutch fork) around the TOB correctly? I wouldn't drive the car until you figure out the issue.

I got the car with that cluch so makes me thing is good, the only thing I did was swap my new motor with out touching the tranny I just let it in the jack inside the engine bay.

I need to know if its ok to drive cause it shifted after like the past. Tomorrow I need to go to work so I might drive it.

My guess is that you might of broke a pp finger while mounting the trans back to the motor.

I'm sure it would be ok to drive, just don't rip on it. If another finger falls out though at hi-way speeds it can cause some damage or it will just shoot out the inspection hole and someone will wonder what the #### just hit there car

wow had to read that like four times. i agree it should be good for a dive there and back from work. please dont try to launch the car other wise something will give. one of my friends had the same thing happen to him and he drove it for 3 weeks until some one told him what was wrong. he launched it and the damn thing nearly blew up on him.

Ok thanks bro so I will drive it normal should be fine until I get to get it fix

Know guys can these be related to having my pedal to high with little pedal play?
