Hey guys. When my pressure plate it torqued down to my flywheel, the fingers go pretty much flat. My mechanic says thats why the car won't disengage and that they're supposed to be angled toward the clutch fork. I searched for this and couldn't find a straight answer. BTW its a Spec Stage 3, 6 puck. Thanks.

The flattening out of the fingers is common when the plate is torqued down. As long as they are not completely flat then your clutch should be ok. More than likely your porblem is going to be wear on the rest of the system. Was your flywheel resurfaced or did you buy a new flywheel when you installed the clutch?

New fidanza, also checked out by Spec. They said it was at .610, which they recommend.
